GMR TIME TRIAL – Saturday, June 7, 2014 9 MILES UP (2300 ft) Glendora Mountain Road (GMR) from the intersection of Boulder Springs Drive and GMR to the summit (just past the blockhouse). Start at 8:00 AM; 30 sec. intervals. REGULAR CATEGORIES Men-- Pro/1/2; 3; 4/5; Master 35+, 45+, 55+, 60+ Women—Pro/1/2; 3/4; W Master 50+ JUNIOR CATEGORIES Men -- 10-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18 Women -- 10-14, 15-18 PRIZES 1st Place in Each Category: $50.00 (categories may be combined if less than 10 riders) Juniors: Ribbons Only, No Cash
Registration Pre-registration: $25 at USA Cycling ($15 for Juniors) until 10:00 PM, June 5, 2014. Click here to pre-register! Event Day Registration: 6:45 AM – 7:45 AM, $28 Adults ($15 Juniors). Pre-Registered riders start first. Licenses: Required for all entrants. 1 Day USA Cycling licenses available at registration.
Event Parking/ Registration / Check In: Carlyle E. Linder Equestrian Center, 1000 N. Glendora Mountain Road, Glendora, CA Directions: Exit the 210 Freeway at Grand Ave and head north towards the mountains. Turn right at Sierra Madre Ave, then left at Glendora Mountain Road. Held under USAC Permit and ALL USAC rules apply. Helmets mandatory at all times while on your bicycle. No fairing or fixed gears allowed; no drafting. Course is open to traffic. Times and awards will be posted at ride start after the last rider has completed the course.
