Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew that they would only pray to the TRUE King and that was God. They refused to pray to anyone else but God. The king told them that if they did not pray to the statue then they would be thrown into a furnace of FIRE! Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were not scared. They knew that God’s got it! They refused to pray to the statue and the king threw them into the FIRE! Do you remember what happened next? (Pause.) YES! God sent an angel down to keep them safe! God’s got it! He was always with them. The king saw that they were not burned and he knew that God’s got it too! He never made anyone bow down and pray to the statue ever again. He knew that there is only ONE TRUE GOD! We know that God is always with us. Now let’s jump through the fire! (Hold up hoop.) When you jump out, say, ‘God’s got it!’” (Finish activity.) After the Activity: “Great job! God’s got it! He is always with us, just like he was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! Who’s got it? God’s got it!”
