TUESDAY BALAAM & THE HEE-HAW CONVERSATION
Balak, the king of Moab, was frightened that the Israelites would overrun and conquer the land of Moab. So, he sent for Balaam and paid him to put a curse on his enemies - the Israelites.

READ Numbers 22:21-31 Who first noticed the angel blocking the road? ________________________________________ Why was the angel there? (22) _____________________ ______________________________________________ What did the donkey finally do? (v28) _______________ Something very funny happened next (v29), Balaam actually began to have a conversation with his donkey! And the donkey made a good point as he reasoned with his master (v30). WEDNESDAY
Moses’ New Orders Moses was gone. He was dead. Now what would the Israelites do? They had wandered in the desert for 40 years and now God was leading them into the Promised Land. But now, their leader was gone.
READ “Balaam” on page 184 of your SuperHero Bible. LOOK UP and underline Psalm 19:14. This is a great verse to memorize. PRAY and ask God to use others ... and His Word ... to remind you of what He wants you to do! Pray Psalm 19:14 to the Lord as you close.
THURSDAY Rahab’s Courage!
READ Joshua 2:1-24 Jericho was the most important city in the Jordan valley and the strongest fortress in all the land of Canaan. It would be the hardest to conquer. Notice that Joshua made a point to ask the spies to check it out. (1)

The King found out about the spies and sent word to Rahab to bring them to him. But Rahab knew that the God of Israel was mighty and strong and she feared Him, so after she hid the spies, she lied to the king of Jericho! (I guess she didn’t know about the 10 commandments, yet!) But in doing this, she protected them.
