She was of ancient lineage, daughter of EDWARD LLEWELLYN and ELIZABETH his wife, sister of EDWARD TURBEVILLE of Hendre Escythan(?). She was also the neice of LLEWELLYN of GEODRIGLAN (?) and THOMAS LLEWELLYN of Welsh St Donats and Rev. WILLIAM LLEWELLYN, Rector of St Georges, all of this County. She died 19th November 1895. Aged 66 years. This monument was erected to her memory by her daughter, ELIZABETH TURBERVILLE LLEWELLYN and her son RICHARD LEWIS REECE. Also in memory of RICHARD LEWIS who died 20th March 1839. Aged 20 months. Also of MARY ELIZABETH, who died 30th July 1842 in her 7th year, both interred here with their grandmother, the children of RICHARD LEWIS REECE and SARAH ANN, his wife.

Fought in France and Mesopotamia in the European War and in the Afghan Campaign of 1919. Also Palastine 1919-1921. Married PHYLLIS, daughter of the 1st Earl of Plymouth on 9th October 1924. Died at Freiberb in Baden, 10th February 1931.
