Thank you… Many thanks to you all for supporting the Goals for Gadgets fundraiser, the amount raised was an amazing £1,367! Well done to Heron class (and parents) for winning the bonus £100 for their class. This week we have had some very generous support from you. One parent has arranged free train transport on our F2 trip around the loop, another providing a set of dictionaries and thesauruses to support our Y6 children and 2 parents making valuable contributions towards the cost of the KS1 Story Telling Workshop/book. THANK YOU for helping us to enrich our children’s experiences
KS1 Request If out and about over the Bank Holiday weekend can the children in Y1/2 please collect some natural resources such as twigs, leaves, acorns etc… This will help the children with their Andy Goldsworthy Art Project.
We are really proud of the kindness and generosity that our children show towards others and on a weekly basis we celebrate this in a Good Work Assembly. This week it has been further highlighted by the actions of some of our children: A huge well done to Emme in Y3 who did a charity fundraiser by selling some of her toys. She would like her donation to go to the World Wildlife Fund. Good Luck to Olivia in Y1 who will be completing a 1K charity run in her walker at Sefton Park on Saturday. Hope the weather stays dry for you. If you would like to sponsor Olivia for this event please pop into the school office.
