A time to reflect, learn, and pray. Tuesday, May 23 – 7:00 pm St. Matthews Family Life Center - 4 Elizabeth Avenue, Esko (218) 879-3510 v Psychological First Aid: a guide to understanding and responding to traumatic grief - Gina Dixon will present a free community presentation describing common grief reactions, practical tools for self care following a traumatic loss, and strategies for supporting others who are grieving or who have experienced a traumatic event. The presentation will be followed by a time of questions, and discussion. v Suicide Prevention information and resources will be shared by Carlton County Human Services. v A time of Prayer will be led by the pastors of St. Matthews. Pastors and counselors will also be available for individual prayer and support. Gina Dixon, Licensed Psycholog ist is the Prog ram Manager of Essentia H ealth- St Mary’ s Grief Support Services and has served as a g rief therapist for more than 2 2 years, providing individual, family and g roup c ounseling to those impac ted by life-threatening illness or the death of a loved one.
