Growing Green Schools Please join the APS Superintendent's Advisory Committee on Sustainability and the FitArlington Healthy Community Action Team for this countywide discussion and recognition of school gardening, outdoor science learning, health and nutrition initiatives in Arlington Public Schools and Out of School Time.
Monday, April 6, 2015 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM Fairlington Community Center, 3308 S. Stafford Street, Arlington VA 22206 This forum is open to teachers, school administrators, parents, and community members. Attendees will enjoy a short presentation, have the chance to network and leave with materials, resources and inspiration. Share your stories! We want to compile information from every APS school and all related programs! Please visit http://bit.ly/1BFpOSX by March 6th to submit information about your school’s successes and challenges. No initiative is too small to be included! Light, healthy snacks will be available and there will be a small craft area for children.
