ROSTER NOTES  All players and parents/guardians must have signed the player waiver form before any participation including but not limited to: warming up, stretching, playing in a game.  Coaches must check-in at the Coach’s table at the main tent prior to the first game to verify rosters and waivers.  All rosters must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the tournament for the team to participate.  Rosters must include: First Name, Last Name, Player Number, Player Email, and Position COACHES  Each team is allowed to no more than (4) coaches on the field for each game.  Coaches can only coach their sideline – cannot be in the substitution box, on the field or in the spectator area opposite the score table and benches.  All substitutions are handled on the fly or on a goal scored.  All coaches MUST RESPECT the officials, their opponents, opposing coaches, scorekeepers, parents and event staff.  thinklax tournaments has a “zero tolerance policy” for coaches not adhering to the said rules above. Games will be forfeited if rules are not abided by. GAME FORMAT/RULES  All games will start promptly at the assigned times.  Games will consist of advertised time o Impulse Youth Games: 3 – 40 minute games o Impulse High School Games: 5 – 25 minute games  No timeouts permitted at all during the tournament.  Halftime will consist of 3 minutes for youth games.  In between games will be 2 minutes for youth games.  5 minutes between games for High School games.  Central clock will start and stop games and halftime.  Officials may stop on field play for any reason he/she feels fit, examples include: serious injury, game equipment issues, sideline problems, etc.  Time serving penalties are kept by the scorer’s table.  Official score is on the scoreboard of the scorer’s table.  All Substitutions are on the fly.  There is no Mercy Rule for Youth Games.  All appropriate equipment and mouth guards must be worn at all times.  Officials and the Tournament Director have the final say on all interpretations and rulings. SPORTSMANSHIP/CONDUCT  Only head coaches are permitted to address the officials and must do so in a respectful manner.  Respect your opponents and “Honor the Game” on all levels.  Poor sportsmanship, taunting, trash talking, fighting, running up the score or other unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated by anyone at our events.  Once kicked out of our event you cannot come back even for a later game.

All GAMES  Official Clock is kept centrally, running clock. No time outs.  All teams play 12 v 12.  No metal cleats of any kind are allowed on the fields.  Normal High School US Lacrosse rules apply to 2018 – 2023.  Yellow card will be kept by the field marshalls.  Players receiving any red card may NOT play in the next game.  2024 – 2026 teams will play MODIFIED CHECKING (Checking the crosse only if the entire crosse is below the shoulder level. The check must be downward direction and away from the body.) o POSITION TO CHECK (Player has an opportunity to legally check the crosse without fouling – 3 second count starts when the official deems that the player with the ball could be checked legally if checking were allowed.)  If a half or game ends on a defensive major foul within the CSA the officials will set up a free position and play will end at the end of the shot taken by the player that was fouled.  If a game ends in a tie in regulation, it gets recorded as a tie.
