H-K Select- Summer 2015 We are gearing up to begin another year of the H-K Select Summer program. This program is open to any and all soccer players that will be attending Hills or Knolls when they get to high school or are currently in MHRD. Current age groups for the summer select program are open to U12 – U14 boys. In order to determine age groups and teams, we first need to know about the players that want to join, new and returning. It is imperative that we are able to get teams formed and commitments from players/parents as quickly as possible in order to complete rosters, tournament registrations and begin player carding. Tryouts: Please make both sessions: Sunday, March 1st & Sunday, March 8th: Tryouts will be conducted indoors at Morris Hills HS from 10:00am – 11:00am. Player Checklist – What’s needed:
Copy of Birth Certificate Player Photo (head shot only) MHMK Registration/Release form US Club Membership-medical release form Registration Fee

Pocono Cup Premier Tournament Central Jersey Invitational (Fort Dix, Lakehurst)
These events will be confirmed by May 1st –Our goal and focus will be on training beginning in July to prepare the players for each tournament. You can read more about the Summer Select Program’s objective included in this informational sheet. TRAINING: Training will be conducted by the soccer staff from either Morris Hills or Morris Knolls High School. Training sessions will take place at designated fields at either Morris Hills or Morris Knolls. Training sessions will begin on or around June 29th and July 19th will be the ending date. Locations and times will be confirmed once finalized. INDIVIDUAL FEES: The financial obligations fall into three categories per team: 1. Tournament Fees and US Club Fees 2. Cost of uniforms 3. Cost of Training The final cost per player will be: - $250 per player * – Training and 2 Tournaments in July
ALL PLAYERS ARE THE SAME FEE THIS SEASON as only two tournaments will be entered.
50 % of fee ($125) due within one week of notification that player has been selected to a team. Remaining balance will be due no later than June 1, 2015. Make checks payable to “MHMK Select”. * Fees do not include travel costs or food for you and your family to tournaments. * Players need to commit to both tournaments. There is no discount for missed tournaments. * No Refunds after May 1st, 2015.

H-K SELECT SUMMER SOCCER Morris Hills and Morris Knolls Ages 12-14 Boys OBJECTIVE: We are looking to create summer select teams to compete in 2 tournaments throughout the tri-state area during July. The overall purpose of this program is to get players to train and play in competitive environments that will increase their overall playing ability. We are hoping to field 3 teams that combine the best players from our area into age appropriate groups. These teams will include the U12, U13 and U14 age groups.
This program looks to improve the overall quality of the soccer programs in the Morris Hills Regional community. Having players work with other motivated players and competing during training will prepare them for their soccer futures. They will receive training from the high school coaching staff prior to their freshman year, and they will be play in highly competitive matches that will begin to expose them to collegiate opportunities. This program will not only benefit the high school teams in our area but will hopefully allow players to find their passion for soccer and earn the right to play at a higher level.
