Outstanding Creative Submissions Synergy Credit Union, Saskatchewan, Division 3, Television Summary: The television commercial “Hard day at the job site,” was part of our campaign that was intended to create an emotional connection but with a humorous aspect. The campaign strategy was designed to appeal to a more mature investor to encourage them to move their investment portfolio to Synergy and “build a better future plan.” The tone of the commercial was designed to elicit feelings of peace, safety, security and trust. We were able to extend the reach of our media by placing the commercial on YouTube as well.
Timeframe: October 1 – December 31, 2014 Budget: $19,000 (production and media placement) Results: We achieved a total of 407,000 paid impressions during primetime shows and sports on broadcast television with a cost per thousand of $34.34. On YouTube, we had 129,214 impressions, 17,409 views paid and organically (at an average length of 29 seconds watched), and 527 viewers clicked through.
