FOREWORD Whether setting off on holiday to France, moving there to live for a while or just for education’s sake, this little book is here to help explain it all to your youngsters. Whilst including smatterings of geography, language and culture we really wanted to focus on some of the things that make France a great place to be a kid. Think of it as a mini French culture class with plenty of fun en route. “A land of history and culture, do you know it by chance? We’re going to Europe to a place called...”

But the kittens had run because kittens love to have fun, let’s help Professor Cat find them all one-by-one.
The kittens got to France in many different ways, some went by boat and some by plane or train.

Let me go, Mr. Mean Cloud,” shouted the little water drop. The big mean cloud did not reply. He flew away moving faster and faster. The wind howled louder and louder, and the little water drop was spun around and around.
First stop, the theme park where cartoons come to life, Scooter the sparky kitten is on the roller coaster ride.
In France you can even go back in time to Gaul! Professor Cat is having trouble catching them all.
The food is delicious, with cakes, crepes and cheese... Fromage

Leonardo the arty kitten is enjoying paintings at the Louvre. “That’s very good Leonardo just wait for me too!”
Paris Plages bring the city ice-cream and games, but Coco the fancy fashion kitten just wants to sunbathe.
“Fritz you scruffy little thing, what are you doing in this box?” “They’re posting me down south, I’m bored of Paris, Prof.”
“Alright class let’s head south where there is plenty more to see, but first we’ll stop by the Alps where you can ski…”
“...the snowy mountains are the kind of place Rafa the sporty kitten would be.”
With a bump and a crash, the kittens were back on their way, down to the southern port city of Marseille.
“Bandit, you naughty kitten! Are you doing graffiti?” “Relax, Prof, in Marseille you can paint special walls legally!”
One-by-one, Professor Cat caught them all and his work was complete, so they went to the fish market to tell stories and eat.
The kittens learned that a little French goes a long way, let’s be kind and polite in the things that we say.

As luck would have it, it was Bastille Day, the 14th of July, so they sat on the beach and watched fireworks in the sky.
Now it’s time to say goodbye, so let’s give French one more try. We hope you too will visit one day and see all that the kittens have in their stay.
