Honest Entries: We got great feedback last year on our TFRRS only entry limitations. We received over 1000 honest entries through this process. It also came with some limitations and frustrations. As a result we have decided to allow converted marks to be entered. When entering VertKlasse please adhere to the following guidelines: • Please enter marks actually achieved or “converted” marks from a time actually run (no “speculative” marks please). • Please use only the USTFCCCA conversions found here. • HS marks that are verifiable on Milesplit.com are acceptable for Freshmen only. Take care to account for the adjustment to college throwing implements and hurdles for the men.
You may enter for an athlete a mark softer than their PR if they are unfit or returning from injury, or on relays. Under no circumstance should you enter a mark based on a time faster than an athlete/relay has actually run. Entering inflated marks is a violation of the NCAA Code of Conduct and my result in disqualification of your athlete. •
Entry Limits:
Though we will make every effort to avoid it, it may become necessary to limit entries in some of our field events to maintain the structure and integrity of the meet. Estimated maximum field sizes are listed on the schedule below.
Scoring:
Division I Team scores will be kept to allow compliance with NCAA Division I participation requirements. Each team will receive a single score – no dual meet scoring.
Athletic Training: Water and ice will be available. HPU Athletic Training Staff will be on site for first aid only. Teams and individuals will be responsible for their own taping and standard treatments. Any special requests should be directed in advance to Anne Park, ATC by email to
