Detroit Fighting Irish 4th Annual Golf Outing Sunday August 30th 2015 9:00 am Lake Erie Metro-Park, Huron Twp, MI The time is here for the Detroit Fighting Irish Junior Hockey Club’s annual fund raising golf outing. This year marks are 4th year for the annual event which this year will be held at the beautiful Lake Erie Metro-Park in Huron Township, Michigan. The 2015-2016 edition of the Irish Junior Hockey club is a team that is made up with a mixture of returning veterans as well players whom are entering their first experience into Junior Hockey. The team has also joined an exciting new league the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) which consist of over 40 teams of two divisions one based in the Great Lakes Region of US and the 2nd on the East Coast of United States. This new league offers the young men of our organization more opportunity to be showcased and scouted opening up greater opportunity to become student athletes at the collegiate level. However the cost to each individual player to participate in this program exceeds most of our team members means and that is why it is even more paramount for us to count on your support to help us provide this huge opportunity for these young men. In addition to the opportunities for advancement both scholastically and athletically we feel the most important attribute of our program encompasses our organizations core values which are Compassion, Commitment, Mentorship, Family and Community and we remain committed to our community work and to our team members efforts to mentor youths and to help the less fortunate in our community With your help, the Irish Golf Outing can be successful and can help us help some young men to represent and serve your community, mentor youth and achieve their goals to become student athletes at the Collegiate Level.
