Obituary “God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb, He gently closed her loving eyes, ad whispered, Peace Be Thine.” Keshia Lenise Bryant, was born on November 13, 1969 in Elizabeth City, NC and a resident of Camden, NC. She departed this life on Sunday January 22, 2017. She was the daughter of Venessa Bryant McGee and the late Fred Spence. She attended Camden County and Florence, NJ public school systems. She was a cosmetologist and was employed as a clerk in a real estate office in Trenton, NJ. Keshia leaves to cherish her precious memories; mother, Venessa Bryant McGee of Elizabeth City, NC; daughter, Briya Moore of Elizabeth City, NC; son, Ja’Bari Bryant of Wilmington, NC; grandson, Serream Harris, the love of her life and referring to him as her “Nook-Nook); her soul mate, Pete Smith; grandmother, Mildred Wilson of Elizabeth City, NC; ten aunts, Diane Bryant and Joann Hunt (Ronald) of Elizabeth City, NC, Deborah Page (Sidney) of Florence, SC and Pam Wilson of Elizabeth City, NC; two uncles, Travis Wilson (Janola) of Elizabeth City, NC and Marvin Howell of Suffolk, VA, Jean Hudson (Donald) of Jasper, TN, Wanda Spence of Riverhead, NY, Florine Linzie (Rev. Vernon) of Trenton, NJ, Phyllis Spence of Newark, NJ, Valerie S. Jacocks (Donald) of Camden, NC and Shelia S. Harrison (Delano) of Chesapeake, VA; special great-aunt, Lillian Newsome of Atlanta, GA; special Pop, Thomas Poole and a special friend, Kecia Taylor of Florence, SC; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
