His Life’s Journey On Wednesday, April 8, 2017, Hosea Speed, Sr. was called home to be with the Lord.

Hosea was born October 24, 1930 to the late Jahue and Geneva

Hosea was known for his love for God with a strong dedication to his church. He served in various capacities within the Generostee Baptist Church ministry, as a former Sunday School Superintendent, Bible Study Teacher and member of the Deacon Board. It was important to him that his children were active in the ministry as well and learned to have a relationship with God. He was also known for his dedication to the community by being an honorary father to so many children and never hesitated to help someone in need.
