India Mission Trip
We are assembling a team for a mission trip to the Central India Christian Mission. October 17 - 28, 2017 The Central India Christian Mission ministers to the needs of people in central and northern India as well as three neighboring countries, and serves people through local outreach, medical care, disaster relief, training and discipleship. This mission has started 1,400 congregations! There will be an information meeting for anyone interested in joining the India Team on November 20 in the Café immediately following our second worship hour. Helpers Needed for DivorceCare4Kids - This 13-week class helps kids and teens deal with divorce and teaches Biblical Truths to help them on their journey. Helpers are needed for Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Contact Larry Lamb at [email protected] for questions or to sign up. Construction & Design Volunteers Needed - This holiday season we are giving a makeover to our kids worship stage and would love your help. If you are savvy with a saw, handy with a hammer or proficient with a paint brush, please join us for a short informational meeting Sunday, November 27, following second service in our preschool worship room located across from the nursery. You can also reach us by email with any questions at [email protected]. Rivalry Weekend - The Men’s Ministry would like to invite you to the big game. The whole family is welcome to join us for food and games while we watch Virginia Tech vs UVA (and two additional rivalry games) battle it out on Saturday, November 26.
