Step 2 — Flip unit over and open lid.
Take a spudger tool and pry the keyboard down toward the mouse pad and up toward you. After you raise the keyboard there are tabs at the bottom. Pull the keyboard away from you, and it will dislodge.
Step 3 — Ribbon Removal
1. Remove ribbon by flipping the black tab up and gently pulling on the ribbon.
2. This ribbon has no tab, gently pull on until it comes loose. To reinsert. Line it up carefully as not to damage the ribbon, and push gently.
