Chapter 1: JD Edwards Database Access Summary Overview of JD Edwards Database Access The Hubble Accelerator requires access to the following JD Edwards Tables for the purposes of mirroring the data: 1. The Data Tables within JD Edwards – JD Edwards reporting information is stored in this table. 2. The Security Tables within JD Edwards – JD Edwards user and role information is stored in this table. 3. The Data Dictionary Table within JD Edwards – Data Dictionary information is used to capture data characteristics for display purposes. 4. The UDC tables within JD Edwards – JD Edwards UDC information is stored in this table. 5. Object Librarian Table - JD Edwards Object library information is stored in this table.
Primary Source Database Information Source Database Information The following information will be used as part of the mirroring configuration process. What is the database vendor, e.g. Oracle, AS/400 DB2, SQL Server?
Which version of the database are you running, e.g. SQL Server 2008, Oracle 10g? If AS/400 DB2, which version of the operating system is running, e.g. V5R4?
If DB2, what is the system name?
JD Edwards Table Locations and Data Access If you are an existing Hubble customer, you can export your current production profile from the Administrator Application and send it to us so that we can use that information in the profile to retrieve the JD Edwards Table Location and JD Edwards configuration information. If you are a new Hubble customer, please complete the below information.

Additional Information Required for Replication General Table Information Are there specific tables updated at a certain time of day?
Are there any record level filters? If yes, are the filter columns changeable?
Do all tables have a primary key? If not, do tables without primary keys have a unique index?
Page 5
Replication Information | Additional Information Required for Replication
SQL Server Only Do you use AlwaysOn Availability Groups?
Is the database a full recovery model? If yes, you must do a full database backup before replication can be done. MS Replication must be enabled on the source database as well.
Oracle Only What is the retention period for your Archived Redo Logs?
Do you use RAC? If yes, are the Redo Logs on Shared Device?
Do you use ASM? If yes, answer the below 4 questions.
What is the name and IP address of the ASM Server?
What is the Port Number?
What is the Service Name (SID Name)?
What is the user name for the ASM User?
Do you have compressed tables?
Do you have encrypted tables?
If Oracle 12c, is the environment multitenant or configured as a non-CDB database?
If mirroring from a standby database, the CDC process can only read from a physical standby configuration and not a logical standby database.
Page 6
Replication Information | Additional Information Required for Replication
AS/400 Only What system CCSID are you using (“DSPSYSVAL QCCSID”)?
What is the CCSID configuration on the tables?
Are the tables already being journaled?
What journal configuration is defined?
We require before and after journal images (*BOTH). Confirm this is being done.
Are journal entries to be omitted?
For all tables being replicated, indicate the library, journal, and journal library: Table

Chapter 3: Users Creating Hubble Users Users must be created for logging into both the Hubble Designer Application and the Hubble end user application accessed on a web browser. Please identify the users that will need to be configured and which applications they will be using. Be sure to incorporate any future users that make sense in your business (for example including the CFO because this person will be using approvals eventually). Hubble does generate emails so you may want to use artificial email address for non-participants. User Name
