Select camera direction if it is known. Otherwise, select N/A. Camera direction must be provided for all photometeors (which are optical phenomena such as a halo, a rainbow, etc.) except those overhead.

As far as possible, select the appropriate cloud genera if you have chosen “Clouds” as one of the meteor type. Choose “Unknown” if you cannot identify the cloud genera.
Click “Continue” to start identifying cloud or meteor types.

Once a particular Cloud Genera has been identified, a list of possible “Species”, “Variables”, “Supplementary Features & Accessory Clouds”, “Mother-Clouds:Genitus” and “Mother-Clouds:Mutatus” will be shown. Select items that you can identify. You can select more than one box from each column. Then press “Continue”.

Videos, time-lapses or sequence of still images (animation) related to the submitted image are mostly wanted items as they would help illustrate the evolution of clouds or optical phenomena.
