You are receiving this letter, because you have expressed an interest in the Oklahoma State Football Walk-on Program. If you wish to tryout, please read the following information carefully, and follow the instructions accordingly. As per NCAA Regulations, the following requirements must be met to participate in OSU Football Walk-on Tryouts. You will be required at the initial meeting on MON, 27 FEB 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in our Team Meeting Room to provide the following information: 1. You must be an ENROLLED FULL-TIME (minimum of 12 hours) STUDENT for the SPRING 2017 semester at Oklahoma State University-Stillwater. 2. All Walk-On candidates are subject to a full background check and must be in good academic standing. 3. Copy of a standard Medical Physical that has been performed within 6 months of the MARCH 1, 2017 tryout. 4. Proof/Lab Report Results for the Sickle Cell Solubility Test (The OSU Health Center provides this testing, or it can be performed by most practicing physicians.) These results are required regardless of your ethnicity/race. 5. Proof of Health Insurance Card/Policy # 6. OSU issued CWID Card.

The tryout consists of a height/weight measurement, vertical jump, bench press max rep (185/225 as you prefer), & timing in the 40. Position specific drills may be tested upon coaches’ request. The West End Zone Football Office is located in Boone Pickens Stadium at the corner of Hall of Fame Avenue and Washington Street. The entrance can be found at the 12 Flag Poles under the “COWBOY FOOTBALL” sign.
