Full Description The Infusionsoft for Microsoft Office Outlook® helps users boost productivity and save time by seamlessly integrating their Outlook email account with their Infusionsoft application so they can access customer information, centralize email communications and trigger follow-up actions and campaigns automatically.

Target Audience All Infusionsoft customers that use Microsoft Outlook for email can benefit from this add-on product.

Installation Instructions Part 1: Activate the Add-On From Your Infusionsoft Application: 1. Navigate to Admin -> Infusionsoft Account. You must be an administrator to access this. 2. Click the “View Plug-ins” button, select Outlook Integration and click “Buy This.” 3. Enter your contact information on the cart page, click “Next” and then “Buy Now.” 4. Once the purchase process is complete, a screen will display in your application. Select the users that should be able to access the add-on. Part 2: Install the Add-On To Your Local Computer: 5. Download and install the Outlook.Setup.exe to your local computer. 6. When the install is finished, open Microsoft Outlook. A popup window will open. Enter your Infusionsoft username, password and application name.

1. View and create Infusionsoft contact records from Outlook. Need

Customers who use Outlook as their primary email system want to access contact information from Infusionsoft while working in Outlook and easily add new contacts to Infusionsoft.

Feature

The Infusionsoft for Outlook sidebar allows users to see contact information from Infusionsoft and create new contact records on the fly. View Contact Profiles When working from Outlook, users can simply click on an email to pull up the associated Infusionsoft contact record in the sidebar. The information displayed includes name, email address, phone number, address, local time and current local weather. Users can also search for specific contact records from the sidebar. Create New Contacts Records If the contact doesn’t have a record in Infusionsoft, a button will appear in the sidebar to “Add to Infusionsoft.” When clicked, a window will open with a form to enter the contact’s information. The contact will be added to Infusionsoft and the profile will display in the sidebar. An “Add Person” button is also displayed in the Outlook ribbon.

Infusionsoft users that work primarily through Outlook want to save a history of their emails in Infusionsoft but don’t want to go through the hassle of copying each email to the notes section of a contact record. They want an easy way to save copies of sent and received emails to specific contact records in Infusionsoft for future reference.

Infusionsoft for Microsoft Office Outlook® allows users to save a copy of a sent or received email in Infusionsoft with the click of a button. From Outlook, simply open an email then go to the Infusionsoft ribbon at the top of the page and click “Record E-mail.” A window will open with options to save the communication to the corresponding contact record in Infusionsoft.

4. Add notes, tasks and appointments. Need

Infusionsoft users want to create tasks and appointments in Infusionsoft while working in their Outlook account.

Feature

Tasks & Appointments Users can now create tasks and appointments in their Infusionsoft account directly from their Outlook sidebar. Simply click “Your Pending Tasks & Appointments” and the click the “+” button. This will display a screen to add a task or appointment. Users can also update existing tasks and appointments by adding more detailed notes or by assigning to another Infusionsoft user. Notes Users can also create notes in the sidebar that can be applied to contact records in Infusionsoft.

Users can now add files to the File Box for a contact record in Infusionsoft directly from Outlook. Additionally, several smart settings help manage image attachments and other attachment types. Users can upload email attachments, such as signed contacts/agreements.

6. View, start and stop follow-up sequences in Infusionsoft from Outlook. Need

From Outlook, Infusionsoft users need to see the past marketing communications their contacts have already received and have complete control over current and future messages.

Feature

Users can now view a list of past marketing communications and see a list of pending messages sequences for each contact in Outlook. Users can also view the details of a sequence, add a contact to a new sequence, and/or remove them from a current sequence.

Benefit

This ensures that users capture every opportunity. For example, a sales users who just got off the phone with a prospect can immediately add that contact to a “pricing follow-up” automated sequence. Taking immediate action makes lead generation and nurturing efforts more effective, which drives more sales.

The sidebar allows users to add tags to a customer record in Infusionsoft for segmentation purposes. Existing tags are displayed directly underneath the contact information in the sidebar.

Sales people can tag contact records for segmentation purposes to ensure their contacts receive relevant, targeted messages.
