Special Bulletin - Installing CAMWorks Solids 2015 on Windows 8.1
Installing CAMWorks Solids 2015 on Windows 8.1 Installation of CAMWorks Solids 2015 requires .NET 3.5 Framework to be installed and enabled. Note: If the .NET Framework 3.5 is not installed or not enabled on your system, then CAMWorks Solids 2015 will fail to install. On Windows 7 machines, if the .NET Framework 3.5 version is not installed/ enabled, then the CAMWorks Solids 2015 installer will automatically install and enable it. Note: An Internet connection is essential to enable or install .NET Framework 3.5.
Enabling .NET Framework on Windows 8.1 machines Please follow these steps to enable the .NET 3.5 Framework: 1. Open the Control Panel. To do so, a. Click on the Windows Start icon.
b. Click on the Search bar and type Control Panel in the search box, and then select Control Panel from the list.
