By integrating Twilio with WebinarJam Studio notification you can send SMS Text and Voice Messages to those who want to get Webinar updates via their phone
Create an Account With Twilio Creating Twilio Account at https://www.twilio.com/try-twilio 1. Fill-out the required fields and click register button. 2. You will received an email from tropo to verify your registration. Just follow the instructions on the email. They 3. After that just login to your account.
Get your Twilio Number 1. Click Get Your Twilio Number On the next screen you can choose the number they give you or search for a different number.
Get Your API keys First Select "Show API Credentials" in the upper right 1. Copy your ACCOUNT SID 2. Copy your Auth Token 3. Copy your Twilio Phone Number
Go To SMS Phone Notifications 1. Edit Your webinar 2. Set up your webinar if necessary, or if your webinar is already set up "save and next" until you reach notifications 3. Select SMS and/ or Phone notifications
Insert your Twilio Keys 1. Paste your ACCOUNT SID 2. Paste your Auth Token 3. Paste your Twilio Phone Number
Upgrade Your Account Go to https://www.twilio.com/user/billing/upgrade and fill out the form. Be sure to add funds as neccesary. Next you'll see a screen like below. NOTE: You can keep your number for $1.00 per month, You can release your numbers at any time from the Numbers page. https://www.twilio.com/user/account/phone-numbers/incoming NOTE: If you want to turn off recurring billing visit: https://www.twilio.com/user/billing/auto-recharge
Set up SMS Notifications 1. Now you will go down to Last minute notifications, click add SMS 2. Enter your message 3. Send a test message to your phone. You should get a text almost instantly. 4. Save changes
Set Up Voice Message 1. Now you will go down to Last minute notifications, click Add Call 2. Enter the URL where you uploaded your MP3 audio message 3. Send a test message to your phone. You should get a call almost instantly 4. Save changes
After you have upgraded After you have upgraded, you will find your API Keys by: 1. Going to Voice & Messaging 2. Show API Credentials (copy those in the appropriate places) 3. Go To Numbers (copy your phone number)
