Dear Parent, Re: ART EXHIBITION
Thursday 29th March 5.00 – 7.30 pm in S13 (Art Studio)
You and your family are warmly invited to our Art Exhibition on Thursday 29th March from 5.00pm – 7.30pm in S13, our large Art Studio. This will provide an opportunity to showcase the excellent work recently undertaken by our students from Years 10 to 13 in the areas of painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. As your son/daughter will be exhibiting recent work, we would be extremely pleased if you could attend the event with them. During the evening, there will be a chance for visitors of all ages to take part in a clay workshop led by professional ceramicist and teacher Matt Dimbleby. In addition, you will be able to order a full colour digital print of our students’ artwork. These will cost £6 for an A4 sized print, and £8 for an A3 sized print. Finally, you will have the chance to vote for artworks that you would like to see displayed permanently in the Academy. Please enter the Academy via the main entrance, and the exhibition will be signposted from there. Refreshments will be served, and, with students present to talk about their work, it promises to be really enjoyable event. Yours sincerely,
