After 16 years, we are ending our ministry time with e3 Partners. It is a sad time, but also the right time. We thank you so much for your partnership in giving, praying, and going. This was not a ministry done by the Johnsons, but a ministry that had hundreds of people involved from across the country. The reason for our resignation is that we came to a difference in ministry philosophy with e3 that made it clear that separation was the best solution. Of course lots of things transpired that led to the final decision and much time in prayer and wise counsel confirmed this direction. Here is a summary of what God did through you. Dozens of churches were started in Cuba, India, Lithuania, Mexico, and Myanmar. 900 churches were started in Ecuador with the assistance of US teams and unknown hundreds and perhaps thousands of churches were started in Ecuador by e3 trained Ecuadorian church planters. 160,000 people heard the Gospel message though personal contacts. 85,000 people made professions of faith in Christ. Please pray with us for God’s direction for the future. We are not sure what is next, but we look forward to serving the Lord with each moment He gives us. We will continue to receive checks from e3 until our support account is closed June 30 (any gifts given after June 30 will go to the general fund of e3 Partners). We cannot thank you enough for joining with us in ministry and we hope and pray that you will continue to participate in world missions in obedience to Christ’s command in Matthew 28.
