2015-16 JUNIOR LEAGUE BASKETBALL TRYOUTS Who: Boys 4th- 8th grades (Must reside in Alexander High School district) Where: Alexander High School When: Sunday, September 13 from 2-4 and Sunday, September 20 from 2-4. What to bring: Each student MUST bring a current sports physical, copy of their birth certificate, proof of residency, and proof of current school attendance, prior to tryouts.
You must attend at least one of these sessions-attendance at both is encouraged. We will have 3 teams, a 6th grade team, a 7th grade team, and a 8th grade team. We will keep approximately 12 student athletes for each team. If chosen for the team, there will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, September, 22 at 7:30 PM @ Alexander High School Old Gymnasium. Teams will practice approximately 3 times per week and play 2-3 games per week during the playing season. There are also several tournaments throughout the season. The season starts at the end of September and ends in late February. Will be flexible with Middle School Football and Basketball. Parents are required to volunteer throughout the season (concession volunteers, clock keepers, score keepers, etc.). Playing time is not guaranteed. Question???
