Bleachers in Bluffs, IL Memorial Day weekend a crew went to Bluffs, IL High School to collect bleacher wood to recycle into school desks for mission schools in developing countries. It was a long day but very rewarding! If you hear of a school remodeling their gym please contact Brad at MMDC!

From Logs to School Desks A group from Sheboygan, Wisconsin have been doing this unique project for a couple years. It starts with donated logs, which are cut into rough boards for free. Then about 20 volunteers work on the desks from late December through February. They sell candy bars and garden produce to make money for the other supplies needed. Thirty desks and a check for shipping the desks were delivered by 3 of their volunteers in May. To be able to do this ministry, a volunteer had to come to MMDC and get trained by Roger McClintock (The Desk Guy), so the quality is the same as ones made at MMDC. A big thanks goes out to Seboyga, WI.
MMDC wants to thank Stan & Jennie Lowrey (Pattonsburg, MO) and Mike & Karen Vaughan (Moulton, TX) for being Volunteer Coordinators in June. June is always a busy month with all the Annual Conferences. Stan and Jennie went to both the Iowa and the Minnesota Conferences and helped organize all the deliveries in between, while Mike and Karen stayed at the center and kept everything going. We could not have made it this month with out each of you. You are a blessing to our ministry.
