CHURCH WORK DAY / YOUTH WANDERING WEDNESDAY — JUNE 28
Chris & Thea Adamo in the recent loss of her mom, Erma Kaihewalu. Pal & Meri Beth Jackson & family in the loss of his sister-in-law, Carol Jackson, 6/22. John Owens in the loss of his sister-inlaw, Martha Owens, 6/21.
Please come to the gym @ 6:30pm to start out to get directions for projects. Projects include: shrubs work, Cut down tree, Base boards wipe down, Feather dusting, Mulch part of playground, Power wash, Dirt work, Work in room 112, Make bench for flower garden, etc.
PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE UPDATE We announced several weeks ago that we had narrowed our search to one person. We have been working with the individual and his family during the interim. They visited St. Joseph twice. During those visits they toured STJ, toured FBBC, looked at several houses, and met with the staff and the elders. After much prayer they have decided God is not leading them to FBBC. They were impressed very favorably with all they saw and experienced here. They made their decision because they determined it is not a good time to leave their current ministry setting. We wish them God’s best as they continue to serve Him there. We were disappointed in their decision, but we are not discouraged by it. God is in control and will lead us to His man in His time. For now we will regroup, seek additional candidates and continue to pray for our church, our process, direction, wisdom, each other, and for the man and his family God will lead us to –wherever they are. We ask you to join us in prayer as we continue to seek His face, His direction, and His will. We will be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding our search. Thank you. Keep praying.
