1. Meeting Organization Approval of Agenda Approval of Minutes of Sept. 6, 2012 2. Reports Executive Report Treasurer’s Report - For Approval Selection of a new Treasurer will occur at this meeting. Commonwealth and Casino Report – for information Publicity Report – for information CO Report – for information.
3. New Business a. Planning for Next Year – The SSC may advise the Squadron Staff about activities for the next year. Here are some of the potential activities. As the SSC, we may recommend that the Squadron a focus on some or all of these activities. The decision, of course, is the responsibility of the Squadron staff. i. Typical training activities supported by DND include the following: 1. Spring and Fall Survival Exercises 2. Gliding 3. Range Exercises ii. Optional training activities supported by the SSC include the following: 1. Familiarization Flying 2. Survive Air 3. Drill Squad 4. Volleyball and Basketball 5. Biathlon 6. Effective Speaking
7. Range Competition 8. Trip to AETE in Cold Lake 9. Fun and Game Days – i.e. Movie Nights/ Bowling/Laser Tag/Swim Night 10. Field Trips – i.e. a trip to Reynolds Museum b. Canteen Account Spending – Purchase something for the cadets – wind-breakers? backpacks? sports jerseys? c. Communication and Email 4. Trip Committee Meeting - for those parents with Cadets on the trip. a. Fund raising status b. Update on finances
