Good sales professionals understand that they are the captains of their own destinies. They go into every sale as if their lives depended upon closing the prospect. They give their all to every element in the presentation process. they have put the time and effort into developing and clearly understanding the best practices involved in a successful sales presentation.
KNOW who your audience is
Be Prepared
every fact you know about your prospect ahead of time can be leveraged by you in some way during the presentation process. If you know that the prospect is loose, relaxed and enjoys mixing humour with business, you can adjust your presentation style accordingly.
If you make a presentation without being entirely practiced and polished, you are wasting your time and the time of your potential client. When you go out to sell anything, go out fully prepared.
Use positive body language
make sure that you are using positive body language that reinforces the message your words are conveying. Make solid and constant eye contact with your audience.
keep your presentation short and to the point
Rambling on and on about information that has no effect on the prospect will only cause you to lose the sale. Get to the point. Solve the prospect’s problem and close the sale.
