Here’s your chance to use the basics you’ve learned and be creative! Pick a project: • Stuffed animal (Simplicity 8358, Sew A Monster book PFC 209055) • Pajama shorts (Simplicity 1520, Simplicity 2290) • Skirt (Simplicity 2576, Simplicity 8184) • Bag (Simplicity 2164, McCalls 7207) • A project from the book Sewing School 2 (PFC 187738) • Or choose your own! What you need: Supplies for your project of choice • Fabric (look at project instructions or envelope for yardage, pre-washed is best) • Notions (make sure you have elastic, buttons, bias tape, etc. if your project requires it General Supplies (Required) • Scissors • Pen or chalk pencil for marking fabric • Pins (the big headed ones are the best!) • Measuring tape • Seam ripper Recommended Supplies (Helpful but not required) • Your own sewing machine • Pinking shears • Magnetic seam guide • An extra yard of fabric to use for additional projects if you finish your pajama pants and pillowcase early
