BUSINESSARISING FRONI PRXVIOUSMINUTES 4.1 Dryer Vent Cleaning It is notedthat the companywho clearedthe dryer ventslast year doesnot do ladderwork anymorcand is therefore unable to service the vents this year. National Air Technologieshas beenaskedlo carryout the work. This will be sched$led areaskedto be for May 10. Residents homeat this time or leavea key with a neighbourandadvisethePropertyMaDager.If accessis not availableat this time thework will haveto be rescheduled at the Owner'scost. Noticeswiil be sentout closerto thedate. Residentsare rsked to ersure that duct connectionsinstaltedbehind clothesdryers are trot crushedby pushitrgthe dryers againstthem. 4.2 PressureWashing Councilwouldlike the northsideof thebuildingpressure $ashedeveryyearandthe southside every other year, The stairs in the courtyardshouldbe cleanedas well. The PropertyManager will get quotesfor the work andsubmit themto Council. 4,3 SkylightRepair A skvlightin PH 2 wasreplaceda few monthsago. Councilhasheldoffon payingtheinvoiceas it feelsit is delectivebecause the skylighthasa lot of condensation in it. ThePropertyMarager has contactedthe installerimd was askedby the instalierto contacttbe manufacturer.The PropertyManagerwill follow up with this andreportback to Council. 4.4 Fire Prot€ctioo Fire Pro hasquotedon the annualservicingof tlre frre system.Councilhasrequested themto investigatesomesprinklerheadsthat havebeenleakingrecently.The reprcsentative from Fire Pro reportedthattherearecmckson theblazeheadadaptors wherethesprinklerheadscormectto the pipes. Everyoneis askedto pleasecheckyour sprinkler headsfor tny signsof leaksor cracks. Fire Pro will be askedto completethe repairs in a few weeks,this will require a shutdowoofth€ watersupply. 4.5 GarageDoor Meshingwasrecentlyinstalledon the garagedoorto prcvelt break-ins.New remoteswerealso issuedto all theOwners-Ifanyonewantsanotherremotepleaselet thePropertyManagerknow, thecostis $40each. 4.6 Bylaws Council has registeredthe new set of Bylaws,as passedat the Arutual GenemlMeetingof February5, 2008,with the Land Titles Office. A set is includedwith th€ mailing of these minutes. Pleasekeepthis copy of the Bylavr's, as replacement copieswill be at the costof the Owner. 5. NEW BUSINESS 5.1 Leak from WashingMachine A leakfrom a washingmachineoccurredin PH3,whichwasnoticedin #303. This problemwas identified andresolved. Pleasebe awarcthatthis t,?e ofleak is theresponsibilify ofthe Ownerro rectiryandrepair. 5.2 PaintingUoit Ceilings Munoz Renovationsquoted on painting some unit ceilings that had water stains relatedto the 2006re-roofiIlg.Councilhasapprovedthework, 5.3 Paintirg ofihe East}Vall and Ext€rior Stairwells The EastWall wasclearedrecentlyandpaintpeeledoff it as a result. The exteriorstairwellis alsoin needof painting. The PrcpedyManagerwill get quotesfor this. The work will be done when the weatherDermits. Cor,mcilstudiedthe sample providedandrequested the PropertyManagerto askthe Ownerfor the nameof the manufacturer beforeapproving.Pleasenotethatcracksin concreteshouldbe patchedbeforereplacingflooring. 7.
