Lake Nona Life Sciences GUIDEWELL INNOVATION CENTER LAKE NONA, FLORIDA
STORY Lake Nona is a 7,000 acre mixed use park encompassing residential, commercial and golf developments. As part of Orlando’s goal to increase life science and healthcare markets, Lake Nona created a 650 acre “Medical City” for health and life science research, services and education. Within Medical City, BAM master planned Lake Nona’s first life science campus to be constructed over three phases. Prior to designing the first building for the Life Sciences campus, BAM developed a master plan for a 12 acre site within Medical City. The first building of the Life Sciences campus, the Guidewell Innovation Center, has completed construction. Outfitted with offices, research and wet lab facility, the building has already attracted leading researchers and scientists.
