11 November 2015 Dear Parents and Carers, It’s that time of year again when we are all getting ready for Christmas and the children are getting excited about their upcoming Christmas performance of ‘Bethlehem’s Buzzin.’ The children will be busy practising the songs and we have allocated the main speaking parts. This year, the majority of the speaking parts have been allocated to the Year 1s, with the year 2 children in a variety of supporting roles! Your child is playing the part of _________________ and will need to dress in an appropriate costume. If you are having any difficulty in providing a costume please speak to a member of staff and we will do our up most to help you out. Costumes will need to be in school by Monday 23rd November in a clearly named plastic bag and placed on your child’s peg. If your child has a speaking part their words will be coming home this week. Please practise reading them aloud with your child in a clear voice that can be heard from the bottom of your garden!! The performances are as follows: Wednesday 2nd December - dress rehearsal for staff and pupils Thursday 3rd December - Parent performance 1:30pm Friday 4th December - Parent performance 1:30pm Tickets are available (2 per family for each performance) from the school office using the form overleaf. No charge. Donations collected will be put towards the cost of new costumes. We will put a collection bucket out at the performances. If extra tickets are available when all parents have had their allocation, we will send out a text to let you know. The remainder will then be available on a first come first served basis.
