Learning & Behaviour Mentor Required Autumn 2017 NJC Scale 3, Point 14-17: £9.94-£10.45 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications)
Term Time Only, 36 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 3.45pm, Term Time To be successful you must be willing to:
Work to good numeracy/literacy skills. Supervising students out of lessons, before and after school and at lunchtimes. Providing pastoral support for students, including those with special needs, in terms of emotional, behaviour and learning needs. Supervising and supporting students, ensuring their safety and access to learning. Establishing good relationships with students, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs. Encouraging students to interact with others and engaging in activities led by the teacher. Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these. Promoting good students behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents, and encouraging students to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
