How to put up your For Lease Sign We recommend using one of the simple options below to ensure that your For Lease sign board is secure in your front yard: Option 1 - Attach sign to existing fixed structure: Punch holes near the edge of the Sign Board and zip tie or screw to a suitable fence or post. Option 2 - Sign sits freestanding on nature strip: To ensure optimal visibility of your sign place signboard on nature strip by following the 3 simple steps detailed below. SOmm

Step 1 Get your equipment: • Drill or screw driver to drive in the screws. • 4-8 screws to secure the sign board to the stakes. We recommend 8-10 gauge timber screws that are 25mm long with a wide head. • Timber stakes Recommend 1400x50x25. Two stakes for normal securing or three stakes for a V-board for optimum visibility. See drawings (3 stakes for a V- Board). • A hammer to knock in the stakes.

Step 2 Where to put it • The aim is to get the most amount traffic looking at your sign. Be Bold. • Be sure that it is not obstructing any walkways/driveways or any public property like bus stops. • Our personal favourite is the V-Board, which allows traffic from both directions to see your sign (this requires 2 boards and three stakes). See Example

Step 3 A. Knock one stake into the ground using a hammer. A.

Make sure its stable and pointing directly up to the sky. If you're putting up a V-board this will be the stake in the middle. B. Screw one side of the sign into the stake that's in the B. ground. (2 screws) C. Hold the sign so its level (horizontal) and position C. where you will put the second stake into the ground. D. Knock the Second stake into the ground D. E. E. Hold the sign level and screw the 2 remaining screws through the sign and into the stake. Repeat steps C, D & E if using the V-Board option.
