Lemont-Bromberek CSD 113A Releases 2017-18 calendar FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 26, 2017 At its January 25th meeting, the Lemont-Bromberek CSD 113A Board of Education approved the Lemont-Bromberek school calendar for the 2017-2018 school year. The first full day of attendance for students is Wednesday, August 16th. December 22nd will be a SIP day (half day of student attendance). Winter break begins when students are let out on Friday, December 22nd and classes resume on Tuesday, January 9th. March 23rd will be a SIP day (half day of student attendance). Spring break begins when students are released on Friday, March 23rd, with classes resuming on Monday, April 2nd. The last day of school is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, May 24th. *Note: If needed, “inclement weather days” tentatively are scheduled for May 25-June 1. However, to allow for more meaningful classroom instruction, days currently designated as holidays or “No School” days may be used instead if deemed necessary by school administrators.
