Let’s Get Families Cooking! Family Cooking Class Our Family Cooking Class (FCC) teaches parents and kids how to cook healthy and economic meals. The class focuses on family participation, healthy ingredient substitutions, and convenient cost-saving recipes. The goal of FCC is to teach families how to cook together and incorporate healthy habits at home, while maintaining their existing traditions.

What does Common Threads Provide? • Up to six 2-hour classes (offered in series of 2 classes) • Trained Chef Instructor • Food for all 6 classes • A recipe book for each family

Completing this application does not guarantee entry. Space is limited. Parent/Guardian will receive prior notification if your family is accepted to participate in the program. Participants are expected to attend the 6 classes listed above to be able to get the most out of the program, with exception to school closures and/or inclement weather.
