Before I decided to trust in Christ, my life was pretty mediocre. I went from day to day not knowing what I was doing with my life. My good friend, Olivia, invited me to the Kalahari Retreat and on that Saturday, January 24, 2015, the Kalahari speaker told us that Buddha, Mohammed, and Confucius said, “Follow me, I’ll show you the way,” but Jesus said, “Follow me, I am the way.” In that moment I committed my life to the Jesus. That decision has impacted my life greatly because I now know that Jesus made me the way I am for a reason. My attendance at Grace Church has definitely encouraged my commitment to Christ with opportunities to serve and go on my first mission trip this summer. My Grace Group has impacted my spiritual growth the most and every one of them are truly amazing people. If you would’ve asked me in August 2015 where I would be in August 2016 I would’ve never guessed I would be where I am today.

TAKE FIVE AND PRAY for our church with us each day: SUNDAYS IN APRIL: We’ll finish up our “What if” series and begin a new series, “Fresh Start” after Easter! Fresh Start will challenge both believers and those new to faith. Pray that we would be reminded of our purpose and identity in Christ!” THE HELICOPTER EASTER EGG DROP was a huge success! Thanks for praying, for filling thousands of eggs and for loving families in Wayne County. Praise Him for the fabulous day sharing Christ’s love! YOUR FIVE: You never know when someone will make the choice to follow Jesus with their life. God’s working all around you… don’t miss an opportunity to pray for and extend an invite to the people that God has placed in your life.
