Master Planning DEFINE YOUR VISION, DESIGN A MINISTRY-FOCUSED MASTER PLAN When your church needs to give clear, tangible definition to its vision, LifeWay Architecture offers a unique master planning approach that balances good growth planning with financial feasibility. Our team of highly experienced church architects and consultants provide you with analysis and guidance to help you balance core ministry capacities, appropriate parking, and other ministry needs. Plans are developed to establish achievable phases which mesh with your growth in attendance and financial capabilities. The result is a growth-driven plan of stewardship for your property that captures the potential of your church’s future. This process can help a church of any size and ministry model.

SERVICES CUSTOMIZED TO MEET YOUR NEEDS The Master Plan process begins with one or more on-site visits. You complete our Church Ministry Profile to pull together your crucial ministry statistics. With a professional topographic survey of the property and scale drawings of any existing buildings provided by your church, your consultant arrives knowing the right questions to ask and the important issues to address. In collaboration with your leadership team, the consultant develops an understanding of the church facilities, property, and vision for future growth. A master plan concept is sketched, and phase one floor plan developed and submitted for discussion and feedback. After approval, our team creates a presentation package to fit the scope of the project. A typical presentation may include: • a color site plan showing building phases, capacities, building footprints, parking, and other land uses • a brief narrative outlining the stages of development • CAD-generated presentation floor plans with space assignments • one or more artist’s renderings illustrating proposed building solutions A presentation for a larger, more complex project may include additional items such as: • additional interior and exterior artist’s renderings • 3-D computer modeling • a virtual tour on DVD Additional services are available to assist with local building and zoning officials, with civil and environmental engineering where needed, and with capital fund-raising.
