Individual and Team Tiebreaking Procedures (Derived from NCAA Regional procedures)
Team Ties shall be broken during a sudden-death playoff counting the low four scores (relative to par.) If there are three or more teams involved in a playoff, the shotgun format listed below should be used. The playoff will start on #18, and proceed to #10, #17, & #18 in that order until the tie is broken. Time limitations may dictate a shotgun start as determined by the Committee. The team playoff will be conducted first if any players involved would also be in a playoff in case of a tie for individuals. The following system will be used to break ties: Teams1. Playoff (if conditions and time permit.) 2. Lowest team score for the final round 3. Lowest team score for the second round 4. Lowest team score for the first round Two teams (A & B; tee off alternately) #5 Team A #5 Team B #4 Team A #3 Team B #2 Team A #2 Team B
#4 Team B #1 Team A
#3 Team A #1 Team B
Teams will draw for order in the playoff by lot. For the playoff, the team having the lowest 5th player score will draw first.

PACE OF PLAY: Pace of Play: Groups must keep up with the group ahead of them. A group losing more than its starting interval is subject to questioning and penalty by the committee. If players being timed takes more than 40 seconds to play any stroke, the player will be charged with an OFFICIAL WARNING. A second official warning will include a TWO STOKE PENALTY. A third official warning will include another TWO STOKE PENALTY. A fourth violation, the player shall be DISQUALIFIED. 3. PRACTICE BETWEEN HOLES: Note 2 to Rule 7-2 is in effect. Between the play of two holes, a player must not make any practice stroke on or near the putting green of the hole last played and must not test the surface of the putting green of the hole last played by rolling a ball. 4. DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES: A player may obtain distance information using a device that measures distance only. Breach of rule 14-3 is disqualification regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used. 5. OUT-OF-BOUNDS: (Rule 27-1) Is defined by a) the inside edge of white stakes at ground level, b) fence lines, c) driveways and parking lots, and d) inside edge of all public roads e) white line A ball that crosses a public road defined as out-of-bounds and comes to rest beyond that road is out-of-bounds.(Left of #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #9, #16, #18) 6. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS: The ball must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay that is (a) not nearer the hole, (b) avoids intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green. These include paved cart paths, #5 Bridge, irrigation control boxes, shelters, sprinkler heads. 7. STONES IN BUNKERS: Played as movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 Applies) 8. The player must lift the ball and drop it, without penalty, within one club-length of the point so determined on a part of the course that fulfils (a), (b) and (c) above. 9. The competitor MUST report the facts of the situation to the Rules Committee before returning her scorecard. If she fails to do so, she is DISQUALIFIED. If the ball the competitor has selected in advance to count has been played in accordance with the Rules, the score with that ball is the score for the hole. 11. EMBEDDED BALL: Through the green, a ball that is embedded in its own pitch-mark in the ground may be lifted, without penalty, cleaned and DROPPED as near as possible to where it lay, but not nearer the hole. 12.
