Advertising Deadlines/Proofs
Space reservations and copy must be turned in no later than 5 p.m. each Monday. Color advertising requires advance notice because of placement limitations. Early deadlines will be in effect on Holidays. Special section advertising deadlines vary, depending on the section. Proofs will only be shown for advertising eight column inches or larger. No proofs will be shown on late ads. On proofs where changes are made, only ONE additional proof will be provided. Any proof not approved or changes within 24 hours will run as is.
Preprint Information
The reservation deadline for preprint advertising is ten days prior to the publication date. Preprints must be delivered in counted bundles or boxes at least three working days prior to the insertion date. Preprints may be delivered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Deliveries are not accepted on Saturdays or Sundays. Preprints must be delivered to the production department located at 224 S Church Ave, Henderson, TN 38340. Preprints are charged by the thousand. The minimum quantity of preprints is 2,000. Quantities less than 2,000 are billed at the 2,000 rate. A special handling charge of $10 per man hour will be assessed to the total hours required to insert preprints that arrive late and require special handling to meet an advertiser’s insert date (if possible). All preprints are inserted in the plant by hand prior to the publication of the edition.

The Publisher shall not be liable for any error in published advertising unless an advertising proof is requested and clearly marked for corrections. If the error is not corrected by the Publisher, its liability, if any, shall not exceed the value of the space occupied by the error. The Publisher shall not be liable for any omission of an advertisement ordered to be published. The Publisher reserves the right to accept or reject any advertisement at anytime without prior notice to the advertiser.
