Create Rochester Goes 2 College - An innovative program providing youth and family support, financial aid counseling, higher education networking and college recruitment to anyone interested in attending college or trade school. Place a Student & Family Support Center model in every rec center in the City of Rochester. Expand Teen Empowerment Program - This proven model of leadership and employment has made a difference in the SW Quadrant. It’s time we address our other neighborhoods. Greater Opportunity - As Mayor, James Sheppard will demand additional funding to expand universal pre-K and child care subsidies. He will advocate for more magnet and regional learning centers for our kids.
