The National Day of Prayer is this Thursday. Like last year, there will be two opportunities to get together with other Christians to pray for our country. One will be at 6:30 a.m. at the American Legion Hall in North Branch. Breakfast will be served for about $5. Marc Peterson from Crossroads Covenant Church in Forest Lake will be the speaker. The other will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Access Church in North Branch. Pastor Steve will be the speaker. A New Members Class will be offered on Sunday May 17 from 7-9 pm. See Pastor Steve if you are interested. Thank you for praying, participating and offering what you have for Water Mission Sunday. “Praise God!” from Ken Herr of Water Missions and he will let us know in a few months where our collection of over $700 will be used in the world, (Nepal, Village Safe Water or Family Latrines). Water Missions has already sent safe water units for 75,000 people in great need after the Nepal earthquake. Nepal is 81% Hindu, 10% Buddhist, 4% Islam, 3% Kirant and 0.4% Christian. A typical Nepal household: 38% have an inside toilet; 50% have inside tap water;
