Nebraska Lutheran Campus Ministry provides campus ministry to people in academic settings throughout Nebraska. Our locations offer a diverse range of ministry opportunities focused on students with a concern for the unique context of each campus community. Our retreats, trips and events invite even wider participation. We want to help make a campus ministry experience available to all students in Nebraska, regardless of where they attend college.

We are working to invite people in academic settings more deeply into Jesus Christ and the community which bears
At NeLCM, we are a Lutheran ministry on campus, not just a ministry to Lutherans. Rooted in the Lutheran tradition, we strive to serve students, faculty/staff and others in our ministry settings. Our ministry serves people from the ELCA, other Lutheran denominations, ecumenical partners, and other Christian traditions. Additionally, through service and partnerships we serve the larger church and the world.

as disciples. Why campus ministry? College students are in an important time of identity formation. In college, young people make important choices about who they will become. What career will I pursue? be engaged in my faith? Will I be part of a church? Through campus ministry, the ELCA walks with students through this important developmental time. Campus ministry provides resources, questions, and companions for young adults amidst this life stage.
How are we funded? NeLCM is partially funded through grants from Churchwide (ELCA) and the Nebraska Synod that come from congregations’ mission share giving. However, NeLCM is only sustainable due to the additional generosity of individual donors and congregational gifts.
