LWML Mission Grant CHRIST-CENTERED TUTORING THROUGH REBECCA'S GARDEN OF HOPE
Rebecca’s Garden of Hope, all of its 126 congregations starting our faith-based after-school Christ-centered tutoring and mentoring outreach, and hundreds of families give thanks to God for your “Christ-Centered Tutoring Through Rebecca’s Garden of Hope, Orlando, Florida” $100,000 Mission Grant support during the 2013-2015 biennium. Your support has enabled us to travel to congregations all across the United States to share our outreach story and provide training and materials for outreach. To God be all the glory! We also give thanks to the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and its Districts for also supporting our outreach ministry and training. It is all about building new relationships with Christ and our neighbors. We have grown from a dozen congregational
partners in 2013 to 126 partners today. These partners now are in 23 states, DC, Windsor, Canada, and Nassau, Bahamas. We have new inquiries every week. Pastors are asking for training and financial support from Rebecca’s Garden of Hope for their developing outreach ministries as we connect children and families with the love of Christ. Our plans for the next two years also include encouraging the development and equipping of hundreds of outreach centers in our cities, towns, and congregations, as we touch the needs of people of all ages everywhere with the love of Jesus. Continue to pray for Rebecca’s Garden of Hope as the Lord expands our outreach to all ages in as many communities as possible.
