Email Marketing. This is exciting because this is one of the best traffic sources for all kinds of online businesses. It truly is a universal strategy that can benefit every online business and that's why we have a whole bootcamp. If you check out the Digital Bootcamp, it talks all about email marketing. Because it's one of those things where email marketing is so central to what people do with the Internet. What is just about everyone do in the morning they check the email. Multiple times a day. Every single day. If you have somebody’s email address you have the ability to communicate with them in a way you cannot do with any other online platform. Social media is really popular right now. But if you have a following on social media you have to go through the filter of that social media platform. Facebook is not going to show every single post you make to all of your fans. That's just not, they’ve got algorithms and whatnot that filter things out. Email’s different. If you send an email as long as it's not spammy it's going to appear in the inboxes of your subscribers and that gives you a powerful way to communicate with an audience. Once you build a list and you’ve got to build a list to really use email marketing. And when I when I say a list that means people who are subscribed to you; people who have given you permission to send them emails. Once you have a list, you have the ability to drive organic traffic to any website, any offer that you want. And the additional benefit of email marketing is you have the opportunity to create a relationship at a deeper level than any other platform online because you're sending people emails. You should be sending multiple times a week. You have an opportunity to create trust, to create respect. And the more trust and respect you have the more open your subscribers are going to be to the offers that you promote to them. You have complete control over your email list. It’s yours; it’s an asset. Facebook can't take it away. Twitter can't take it away. YouTube can’t shut your channel down. Email is yours. An email list is yours. It is an asset that you can, you can keep, that you can use, that you can do with as you wish. And that's pretty awesome in today's Internet. So here's some statistics: there's 4.6 billion email addresses; for every $1 on average spent on email marketing, a business gets $44 in return. I mean the statistics here are pretty astounding. And with all the hype about social media you might think, “Oh email is old news.” But no it's not. Email is is here because it's so simple and it's so timeless that email marketing is not going anywhere. It truly is not. So with every online business email marketing should be a part of your strategy. And again, that's why we have a whole bootcamp, a Digital Bootcamp, dedicated to email marketing. So overall with email marketing, you know, you're talking about a monetary investment level of four and that’s just to account for the fact you probably do need to spend some money to build your list. You need to drive traffic to an opt-in page. Get people to optin. You don't want to go buy email addresses. That's not good business practice. You want to take people through an opt-in process so they voluntarily join your email list. You're going to get much much better results that way. You're going to have a high time investment on this because you do need to consistently write emails. I recommend

multiple times a week. Engagement level is going to be really high because if you build a relationship with your subscribers they are going to like you, they're going to trust you and you're going to get amazing results from it. It’s a very high engagement level with this particular organic traffic source. So yes we have a whole bootcamp about this if you're intrigued by email marketing. Check out our Digital Bootcamp. It's all about building an email list; building that relationship. And again every single online business that I can think of would benefit with an email marketing strategy.
