Prior to meeting: Vote- Election & 2015-2020 Strategic Plan Call to Order- TIME: _8:57 AM_ Appointment of Parliamentarian- Grace Reynolds Quorum (# out of 93 institutions): 67 checked in, 65 voted Introduction of Special Guests (Brooke) a. NEACUHO – Josh Hettrick – Feels lucky to attend 3 years in a row. It’s like coming to a 2nd home and he enjoys connecting with everyone. 4th year of their strategic plan, trying to address a number of things. Communication plan, meeting membership plan, reviewing corporate relations plan to try and emulate what MACUHO is doing, and Assessments. Most excited about para-professional program because of the VIP program. b. ACUHO-I Foundation Updates- Shana Alston - Between 2009 and 2015, $22,000 has been awarded to those in our region to attend NHTI, RELI, Internships, ad ACUHO-I. Since January – August over $7,000 to the region. This has come from 1 time donations and Parthenon awards. 45 individuals in our region are eligible by service to the field and ACUHO-I. How can we get more people involved? Ways we can continue to contribute to the foundation. Patron pledge $25 for 2 months and can go towards MACUHO also we can fund the Lisa Pierce Endowment. Major donors $1000 for 5 years. Research grants we have earned over $14,000 towards research in student affairs. Goal for the conference is to raise $1,500 Currently at conference have raised – 645. c. ACUHO-I Regional Cabinet Member Updates- Joanne Goldwater – Strategic plan was approved earlier this year. 4 main goals Education, knowledge resources, community and influential advocacy. Updated online communities, please go onto the ACUHO-I website. Many different discussions going on, please update your profile and get online for ACUHO-I. Online library. www.ACUHO-I.org. There are many events for different topics. Campus management 6 book series, and host sites or been interns. TPE continues to grow – hosts an average of 10,000 face to face interviews. TPE also has an online job board. New Executive director hit the ground running and has been a wonderful addition to the staff. Let Joanne know if you have any thoughts suggestions or ideas. d. ACUHO-I Regional Affiliation Task Force Updates- David Clurman – Group founded by current ACUHO-I president. Made up of 2 representatives from each region. Met earlier this month in Tampa- goal is to develop a framework for regions and ACUHO-I to partner to better the field. Looking at a long term view to better ourselves and how do we get there. If you have input please contact our MACUHO representatives Olan Garret and Katie Boone.

Treasurer Checking Account $167, 866.28 Business Market $54,007.14 Business Savings $19, 369.62 We are in a great financial position because of the exhibitors and our corporate partners. Please go to the exhibit halls. Tremendous success with Corporate Partners this year we raised $16,500 for the organization. Please look at the budgets that were shared with you. This year the budget was focused on and we moved up the timeline, the 2016 budget has been approved. Lisa Pierce Endowment – As of the end of the June approximately $31,000 in this endowment. We need a three year average of $100,000 for the VIP program to self-sustain. c. Past President i. Results 1. Elections – 95 institutions represented 67 voting delegates checked in. a. New Leadership Council/Task Force Appointments – Recognition of past leadership council and present. This year we have 2 task forces one on Membership and Structure, the other on Conferences and Professional Development. Task forces are a good way to get involved to get to know the organization. ii. 2016 Annual Conference & MAPC Dates/Locations 1. MAPC- Crowne Plaza in Reading a. Thursday/Friday, March 3rd & 4th, 2016 2. Annual Conference- Hershey, PA (Lehigh/Lafayette) a. Monday, November 7th-Wednesday November 9th
