Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings and Wishes from NIRC of ICSI !! I am pleased to inform you that Northern India Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India is organizing Campus Placement on Saturday, 11th May, 2013 for newly admitted Company Secretaries at ICSI-NIRC Building, 4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, New Delhi-110005. Your goodself might be already aware that the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a premier National professional body established under an Act of Parliament to regulate and develop profession of Company Secretaries. The Institute has a strong cadre of over 33,000 members including more than 5,000 members in practice occupying key positions in the corporate sector and the government and also serving the corporate as an independent professional. The Institute is functioning under the administrative jurisdiction of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, having its headquarters at New Delhi. The Northern India Regional Council is one of the four Regional Councils of the ICSI which is engage in development of profession of Company Secretaries as an extended arm to ICSI in the Northern India. Corporate world has found that Company Secretaries are instrumental in attaining Flawless Growth; Mobilizing Resources through IPOs, FPOs, ADR / GDRs; Mobilizing Global Resources through FDI and ECB; Corporate Structuring and Restructuring; Corporate Compliance Management; Legal Drafting and Documentation and many more. The Company Secretaries are also performing effective role in the field of Excise, Customs, Service Tax, Forex Management and implementation of Industrial policies and Labour Laws. The ICSI has very robust training structure for its students. During the Company Secretary Course, the students are required to undergo training programs like Executive Development Program, Professional Development Program, Management Skill Orientation Program and finally on completion of 15 months on-job mandatory training, the students are admitted as members of the ICSI. This mandatory training structure prepares our newly admitted Company Secretaries to take-up the responsibilities in the corporate world right from day of joining.
Our newly admitted Company Secretaries always have an added advantage, as they can mould themselves as per Vision and Mission of the Corporate because of their rigorous training and practical exposure of handling Corporate Affairs.
