MANITOBA AAA MIDGET HOCKEY LEAGUE 2016-2017 ALL STARS
The Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League is pleased to announce the 2016-2017 all-star teams, presented by Source For Sports. Yellowhead Chiefs and Winnipeg Thrashers each placed three players on the teams, while league-leading Winnipeg Wild and Pembina Valley Hawks each had two players named to the teams. Defenceman Aidan Woodley and forward Ryan Heino of the Chiefs are joined on the first team by Thrashers forward Dawson Mckenzie, goaltender Aaron Brunn of Pembina Valley Hawks, Winnipeg Wild defenceman Nicholas Cicek and forward Joey Moffatt of Central Plains Capitals. Thrashers goaltender Zachary Bennett and defenceman Carson Tiede are joined on the second team by Brandon Wheat Kings defenceman Curtis Ireland and forwards Cedric Chenier of the Wild, Pembina Valley Hawks’ Elijah Carels and Mackenzie Belinski of Yellowhead. The Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League all-stars are selected by a vote of each of the league coaches.
